Pace Computing believes that there is no single solution that fits everyone. You have unique problems that are specific to your business. We therefore support many different solutions on several platforms. We study and learn new systems continuously and work hard to pick the ones that are right for you. We currently support the following operating systems:

	Operating System Description   Windows 3.1 This is Microsoft's legacy 16-bit operating system. It is no longer supported by Microsoft. We support it primarily because some older medical equipment and automation systems use these systems   Windows 95, 98, ME These are Microsoft's legacy 32-bit operating systems. They are no longer supported by Microsoft. We urge all customers to upgrade from these systems to a more secure operating system that is supported by Microsoft.     Windows NT,2000 These are Microsoft's legacy 32-bit business operating systems. They are no longer supported by Microsoft. We urge all customers to upgrade from these systems to a more secure operating system that is supported by Microsoft.     Windows XP This is Microsoft's core desktop operating system. It comes in both 32-bit and 64-bit versions. We currently recommend that our customers stay with this system.     Windows Vista This is Microsoft's newest operating system. Although we fully support this system, we do not recommend that customers move to it at this time. Due to its problems with compatibility with many software packages and much of the hardware currently on the market, we consider it to be a poor choice at this time.     Windows 2003 Server, Small Business Server, Advanced Server These are Microsoft's core servers. These are fully supported by us and we recommend them for many of our business customers.     Linux (RedHat, Fedora, CentOS, Ubuntu) These are the open source Linux systems. We support many versions of these systems. They are at use in the IBM eSeries servers and they form the backbone or many embedded devices. These are also at the core of the VMWare enterprise servers. They make great alternatives to Microsoft Windows servers and can act as mail servers, gateways, DMZ's, file servers and application servers.     SCO Unix This is one of the old-school Unix systems. The company that produces it has fallen on bad times, but we still support it.     Mac OS X This is the Apple operating system. It is based on BSD Unix We fully support it as well as support its integration into the Windows environment. We also support the use of Vmware Fuzion and Parallels on the Mac to integrate Windows applications natively into the OS X system.
